R2xD3 hybrid theater

The Shirai lab of the Kanagawa institute was presenting, at the Digital content expo of Tokyo, this new kind of 3D screens that allows to show simultaneously two version of a same image.
At the demo, two kinds of text were displayed in the same image, one in japanese the other in english, this technology could be useful in conferences or, for TV subtitles of your favorite shows.
But the Shirai lab hopes they could soon display two different movies on the same screen, like Samsung and its OLED screen F9500, but for a lower price since the used technology is cheaper.
